and hope he does well. A governor's ultra-valuable experience coupled with long experience and commitment to climate, environment, energy, ag, and water issues. At very least, we NEED him on the debate stage and he will hopefully become nationally known as a leader on these issues.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I don't know who Inslee is, but this is a positive thread for the Democratic Primaries McCamy Taylor Mar 2019 #1
I think he has a lot of potential. Gov. of Wash. state. n/t RKP5637 Mar 2019 #2
Agree. I was glad when I heard he was considering running Hortensis Mar 2019 #53
He popped up at 3% immediately after he was interviewed by Rachel. LAS14 Mar 2019 #4
Do you have a link to it. I looked on YOUtube and couldn't find it. patricia92243 Mar 2019 #19
Sorry, no. It was maybe a couple of weeks ago. nt LAS14 Mar 2019 #29

Since we have no idea what the totals are, for all we know that 1% change may represent as few hlthe2b Mar 2019 #5
There are more than 100 people posting in the Primaries forum. TwilightZone Mar 2019 #9
Even if it is 300 people, that doesn't change the point. Percentages alone are meaningless hlthe2b Mar 2019 #12
No, they aren't. TwilightZone Mar 2019 #16
Look.. Plesase think about it. A 1% change can reflect as few as ONE DUers changing preference hlthe2b Mar 2019 #20
Ok, I get it, but that's highly unlikely. TwilightZone Mar 2019 #30
You can't ignore rounding, that's just it. SFnomad Mar 2019 #15
I was ignoring rounding in the context of the other poster's example. TwilightZone Mar 2019 #17
Your comment was ... For the 1% to be one person, the total would have to be 100 SFnomad Mar 2019 #18
It is a CHANGE in 1%. And if you think there are 10,000 expressing preference.... hlthe2b Mar 2019 #21
And as I've tried to explain, that "change" in 1% can be as few as 1 person SFnomad Mar 2019 #23
It is ME who is stating simple percentages don't mean anything sans totals. You seem confused. hlthe2b Mar 2019 #24
I didn't notice that the person replying to me changed SFnomad Mar 2019 #26
The point is that mere percentage mean nothing. Surely if you have had any training in statistics hlthe2b Mar 2019 #27
This has nothing to do with statistics and if you knew anything about math, you'd understand that n/ SFnomad Mar 2019 #28
Hah! Well I guess that proves it... hlthe2b Mar 2019 #34
I haven't "proved" anything ... just explained it. SFnomad Mar 2019 #35
