(7,964 posts)Anyone who has seen Biden's stumbles should be concerned - unless they are diehard supporters who want him as the nominee no matter what. This "defense" of "well he doesn't make as many mistakes as trump" really misses the point: Dump's erratic and questionable behavior is many, many times worse than Biden's and will be one of dump's biggest weaknesses, I believe, when swing voters are deciding.
Nominating a candidate who the other side can say "look at his lapses too" - even if they aren't as bad as dump's will even out that weakness in some voters minds, even if they are wrong factually. Voters don't look that deeply into the comparisons like the ones you posted. They just think "oh they both make a lot of verbal and mental errors." In an election that could be very close, that is a concern. Biden really needs to step up his game in the debates and the campaign trail in the coming months.
