(8,148 posts)conduct foreign policy. In fact, she did conduct it. And she did vote as Biden did. Biden became an outspoken critic of the Iraq war. He is no war monger. And he had asthma.
There was no vote for war, but a vote to authorize Bush to go to war under certain exigent conditions. Those were lied about to him. He lied. Colin Powell helped sell it, Netanyahu helped, Biden and Senator Luger tried to slow Bush down. Was not possible. Bush and company aborted the inspections and exploited the authorization.
Now, asthma, the vote to authorize, none of this answers my rhetorical questions about Bernies foreign policy credentials as compared to Bidens or his lack of accomplishment on issues, on policy.
I dont think you can cite policy accomplishments or any foreign policy knowledge or experience. For instance, India and Pakistan have an ongoing, serious conflict over Kashmir. They have come close to a nuclear conflict in the recent past and are said to be once again in that danger zone, dangerous for the entire world. Biden is well versed in the history and geo-politics of this area.
Bernie? I guess he can read up. And how is it Bernie missed serving?
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
