(9,647 posts)Basically, Biden said in the clip when responding to Ukrainegate was that he said the media has proven it is false, instead of HIM saying it's bullshit. There is a subtle difference between, "The media says its false" vs. "I say its false/bullshit". The latter is a stronger statement because he is saying it and he's backing it up with his credibility. The former is kind of wobbly in the sense that it leaves Biden an out and he is not backing it with his credibility.
And it's not like others don't have these concerns:

I also think it was a mistake to put on his twitter that the media should not book Ghouliani (because the Ghoul is a proven lying sack of shit). Instead, when Biden did it via Twitter it kind of sends a message that he is afraid of Ghouliani and what he has to say.
