You are ABSOLUTELY correct. The "base" are loyal Democrats who... donate, volunteer, canvass... who always support DEMOCRATS and who ALWAYS ALWAYS VOTE!!

There's a certain subset of far-left fringe voters who seem to believe that the word "base" means "most left". It doesn't. They're fooling themselves.

Because frankly, these kind of people are more likely to drive away more people in the general election than they attract.

Yes... that subset generates so much negativity. Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
