(34 posts)Companies merge in order to reduce redundancy by letting people go. Breaking up these companies reverses the process and will create new jobs. In addition, there will be room for new start-ups since the monopolistic company will be less dominant in that sector of the market. No matter who is elected the stock market will crash after the election. The federal funds rate is currently 1.75% to 2% and will continue to be reduced to delay the recession until after the election. It can only be reduced to 0%, and then as they say the sh*t will hit the fan. Many independent economists think the recession will be worse than the recession of 2007-8 since the bubble in the stock market is so much bigger. I want the President at that time to knows first hand what she is doing, and is on the people's side.
