(15,472 posts)I was a bit disappointed in Warren for not simply saying, yes, middle class taxes will go up, and at the same time costs will go down because people will not have to pay premiums, copays or deductibles. So costs will actually be reduced and healthcare would be extended to ALL Americans.
That is all she has to say, because that is her plan. Sigh.
Biden did pretty good, and I did like Klobuchar.
I wasn't particularly impressed with Beto this time around, or Castro. Booker did OK, but not a standout. And I didn't think Gabbard had a particularly good performance.
Will I be changing my preference? Nope. I like Warren a lot and am going to stick with her, but we must all remember this:
Our paramount task is to defeat Trump, Pence and clean out this Republican swamp that stinks to high heaven, just like the Pripet marshes, if you take my meaning. We have to put in clean people and get rid of the dark money corruption. Do that and we can have our republic back.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
