Health care industry has some of the highest wages and low unemployment. By decimating it, he will put a lot of people out of work and stagnate their wages.
A doctor can afford to practice in a small town of 5,000 and employ a receptionist, a bookkeeper and a couple of nurses/CNAs. With MFA, the community of 5,000 will no longer be able to support that doctor and he/she will have to lay off the staff or close the practice down entirely, forcing the 5,000 people to drive to a large city and its crowded clinics. They will wait months for an appointment.
I am sick and tired of BS's slogans and platitudes denigrating the health system and the Democrats who have been trying to improve it.
I have first hand knowledge of socialism - it ends up making everyone poor.
And don't come back with the Denmark or Sweden excuse - those are very tiny countries with homogeneous populations and have no baseline poverty like the US. They are not comparable to the US.
At the moment, one can get a knee or hip replacement in the US in a couple of weeks. In the UK, the wait is 6-9 months. In Canada, 3-6 months.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
