Just like when some Democrats pushed Pelosi (successfully) into making that pledge.
Circumstances on the ground will dictate that decision. I wouldn't want Biden to be elected hamstrung by such a pledge. He may decide to only serve one term but that shouldn't be revealed until it's time.
