(16 posts)Supporting anything but universal coverage is by definition fighting to keep some number of Americans without health insurance.
You can want: Everybody to receive healthcare, with no deathtoll or support some or most people receiving healthcare, with a deathtoll. Hence 'No Middle Ground', as the 'middle ground' is still manslaughter. Preferring manslaughter of others to minor financial inconvenience is pretty cruel. A system that monetizes minimizing coverage is dysfunctional. You can support expansion all day and all night, but if there's still some number of Americans who suffer.
Where is the lie? Why are we upset that this is called out?
Expanding infinitely is not the same, or as large, as infinity. That's why we're fighting for universal coverage.
