24. Please allow me to explain a few things so that you might understand my position better.

A bullet is not just a bullet.

As a general rule, rifle bullets transfer more energy than bullets from pistols. Rifles are shouldered which usually makes them easier to aim than pistols (fewer missed shots is a safer situation).

Machine guns and rocket launchers, you ask. It is totally legal to own machine guns. It just takes money and completing the NFA paperwork and background check. Rocket launchers aren't regulated, but the rocket grenades are impossible for civilians to purchase.

That is what is bizarre about Beto's confiscation plan -- he would have made it easier to own machine guns than AR15s.
