(58,785 posts)and how in those key 3 states alone the # of Sanders' voters who believed his corrupt Democrats/corrupt Hillary theme and refused to vote Democrat was bigger than our margin of loss? And that doesn't even count all the other left-leaners who didn't vote at all because they lost their belief in us after hearing too much from him and Russia?
Sanders' poisonous effect on the election was only one of many factors that each alone would have made all the difference in this election, but it was also felt across the nation, not in just three states, where an expected giant blue wave was destroyed and corrupted by lies into widespread Republican victories.
But now the important thing to realize is that it could happen all over again and must not be allowed to. Many knowledgeable political scientists believe our democracy itself is in danger and that we might not have another chance to save it.
Democracy under Democratic Party leadership OR white nationalist authoritarian government. That's the choice.
