(29,055 posts)If you asked me to give examples of a war on Democrats, I could. Saying the party is "ideologically bankrupt" "feeble" "They want us to go back to their failed corporate approach." "Democrats have focused too much with a liberal elite that is raising incredible sums of money from wealthy people ... but has ignored to a very significant degree, working class, middle class and low income people in this country." "Are you qualified to be president of the United States when you're raising millions of dollars from Wall Street?" "The current model and the current strategy of the Democratic Party is an absolute failure." "It is not good enough to have a liberal elite." "The business model, if you like, of the Democratic Party for the last fifteen years or so has been a failure." "The Democratic Party has been dominated by wealthy campaign contributors." "And I think what Trump was able to do was pick up on the failures of the Democratic Party that did not talk about the fact that hard working decent people saw their jobs going to Mexico or China, or people cannot afford to send their kids to college or afford child care ... ." "It wasn't that Donald Trump won the election, it was that the Democratic Party lost. We need a Democratic Party that is not a liberal elite but of the working class of this country ... ,"
There are plenty more examples of a war on Democrats.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
