Why should he limit himself at this point? Sure, Stacey Abrams is a firecracker, but why pick someone out of the gate who hasn't shown immediate interest in the presidency?
A Biden/Harris ticket would be fantastic and, I'd bet, unbeatable. Obviously Joe won't consider and announce for Harris now as she herself is a candidate for the same job. And why would Harris agree before the primaries to be second banana to Joe when she has a good shot herself at the top position?
Joe needs to wait until after the primaries so that he'd have a blooming garden of potential VP candidates who have elected to bow out of the top race. Biden/Harris...Biden/Booker...so many great combinations, and all the VP possibilities eager to take their turn when Biden is done.
Don't do it, Joe!
My advice to any of the Dem candidates: Once you've secured the nomination, bring along the #2 contender and enjoy the luxury of his/her supporters also.
