Democratic Primaries

(17,802 posts)It goes like this. Bernie keeps a core of his base together, maybe 25% of the primary voter base. The other 75% gets diluted between all the other candidates and none gets to above 25%. BS would pick up some additional just because he would be a front runner, and media, and the russian bots supporting him.
So he could win with just a paultry minority of voters because all the good candidates spread out the remaining votes. It's very possible he could win the nomination with just 35%.
He would then get crushed in the general. A lot of our voters would just yawn and not show up. A lot of trumps 2016 voter base would return. The troll army would turn on him. He would have his political skin stripped from his body piece by piece.
He isn't electable, but could win the primary.
To stop him, people need to rush to the best candidate. Don't vote in your state with your heart. Vote to put a primary candidate in place that isn't a loser. Is mayor pete a great candidate? Possibly, but he isn't going to win the primary. Don't throw your vote away on him. Sorry Pete. My heart is with warren, but I would vote for biden in a second if I diidn't think she could win the primary (and at this point I don't think so).
I'm not going to throw my vote away and let BS get the nomination. He is our trump.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
