(17,802 posts)The primaries aren't all held on one day. By the time they get to the middle of the pack states, winners and losers are pretty clear. So if inslee is pulling 5% after 1/3 of the states have voted, it would be throwing your vote away to keep voting for him in later states.
Sure, he is your ideal candidate, but if that means your nightmare candidate gets in, pick another "good candidate" who has a shot.
I'm in MA, and that is pretty late in the process. Still, it has a not insignificant number of votes at the convention. I'm going to work to make sure those convention votes go to a non bs candidate.
I'm not going to vote my heart and give warren a vote if she clearly isn't going to make it. She will have other shots. She will still make a good cabinet secretary. Not everyone can be potus. And some absolutely shouldn't be.
Vote wisely.
