It's his pattern, the constant claim that the Democratic Party is corrupt and doesn't care about the working/middle classes ("ideologically bankrupt" ). That Democrats are establishment elites beholden to wealthy donors (he can't stop mentioning Biden's fundraisers and candidates who benefit from super pacs) who are terrified of progressive ideas and will stop at nothing to defeat him. He's done it for decades and still does. This is why it's about right now and how it will affect the general election.
Harris' attack wasn't against the Democratic Party and it was a thing that actually happened. Sanders said the reason he wanted Obama primaried was because he wasn't doing enough for the working/middle classes, same old claim with no proof.
