Let me say that at the beginning, I was very excited about Kamalas campaign, and thought she was likely to be my choice, based on her background as an attorney general, her performance in the Senate. But after the first few debates, I felt very tepid. It felt as if her campaign didnt have a consistent focus or theme; her debate performances felt contrived at times, as if she were trying too hard to get a hook, but missing somehow; she never hit a tone. And while this may just have been my perception, I think probably quite a few others felt the same.
Look, it happens. Running for president is, alas, an art that involves more than just being smart or having the right positions. I cant articulate what that something is that captivates the electorate ... it can be a host of different things ... but its like high school: even the nicest, smartest kids sometimes dont make the popularity list.
Fire away; but this is my personal view.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
