(2,274 posts)And I'm wary of entering this thread to be entirely honest, that the Citizens United ruling has done more than just about anything else to handcuff "our" side. Completely do away with corporate money in our elections. I like Ms. Harris but getting her message out was always her main problem imo. Yes, I think others can make better presidential candidates but until we remove the stranglehold of special interests we may never know.
As far as "fixing this" vis a vis the DNC, how? Their hands are pretty much tied by , what else?, the economic realities of running a presidential campaign as well as the various Senate/House contests. I think Ms. Proll, Ms. Jones and Ms. Greenberg are doing none of us a favor by bringing more controversy and divisiveness to the leftish side. Do we need more POC and women as our representatives in Washington? Of course we do! Do we need to add another layer of controversy and divisiveness to our side AT THIS PARTICULAR POINT IN TIME, no an emphatic no!
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
