(28,836 posts)I know you're not new to this, so I really don't understand why you're acting as though this is a unique event or that it's unique to Harris.
This happens every cycle. The field winnows down based on polls and based on fundraising or lack thereof every...single...presidential...primary. We've already had half a dozen people drop out before Harris. Were they all forced out, too?
The pollsters and media didn't decide that Harris shouldn't be in the race. She did. She's not the only one who was facing funding/polling difficulties - half a dozen people already quit and there are several more in similar (or worse) situations than Harris.
It's not the Democrats' fault. It's not the DNC's fault. It's not the media's fault. It's not the voters' fault. It's not the pollsters' fault.
In the end, she just couldn't compete with the front-runners. Happens to nearly everyone who ever runs, and many of them similarly don't make it to a primary.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
