36. I would urge you to consider the possibility that for every one of 'us' ...

You know, militant PC types that demand rigorous adherence to our personal litmus/purity tests, there's probably 5 regular folks out there that would hear that Buttigieg supported the Salvation Army and thinks one or more of the following:

1) Hey, I too support the Salvation Army, they do good work in the world!
2) Hey, maybe Gay folks really CAN be kind, loving Christian folk!
3) Hey, maybe PB totally isn't screwing around and trying to trick Voters with a phony Christian Act!
4) Hey, maybe he isn't ONLY totally concerned with the interests of Gay folks, just like we came to believe Obama wasn't ONLY totally concerned about the interests of Black folks, which helped us feel good about voting for him!
5) Hey, maybe we really COULD vote for the Gay man, I mean, not only was he a US soldier, but he's a Christian, and actually really seems like a good, smart guy!

I mean, a lot of those 'ways of thinking' sound lame and/or homophobic to US (okay, not just sound) ... but we aren't the average US voter.

Just worth some consideration IMHO.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
