Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: Why I can't support Bernie. [View all]booley
(3,855 posts)23. Dont really see it but ok.
Sanders has been working towards the things he says for decades. Which tells me he means what he says. He has always been honest to my recollection.
As to being a Democrat, to many of his supporters, Sanders is more Democrat in spirit than most of the people running. He represents what Democrats used to be and what they are supposed to be. I think there is a very good reason that until he ran against Clinton, the Democratic party itself was more than happy to treat him as one of their own in all but name.
You clearly disagree so ok.
But I dont' accept your reasoning. We will just have to wait and see who wins the primary.
So curious.. what positions of Sanders do you disagree with?
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided

Kind of hard not to let him run when he is in leadership position for the Democratic party.

His role is outreach chair. I am sure he fullfills his the same way Amy Klobucher fulfills her

LOL. You are implying the leadership is too weak to do without Sanders in a role, but you sure do
