(31,261 posts)61. He either didn't do his homework, or he just didn't care.
He may have guessed that his supporters would blindly back Cenk after Bernie endorsed. One person right here on DU implied that he or she would definitely vote for Cenk because Bernie endorsed. But it looks like Bernie ran into a firestorm from his California supporters and started trying to find a way to undo the damage. The endorsement is going to stick with him and other people in the democratic primary should raise the issue next week during the debate.
