Democratic Primaries

(23,195 posts)This thread is all about what will happen in the General Election. It is not about the timing of when Sanders would endorse a candidate other than him for the Democratic nomination prior to a Democratic convention.
Sanders committed to supporting the winner of the Democratic nomination in 2016, which he did, and he already made that same commitment this year. There is no official Democratic nominee until the Democratic Convention
So you were incredibly misleading when you summarized the message of that press piece to "Sanders will not commit to supporting the winner" when what the source wrote was
"NBCs Kasie Hunt asked Bernie Sanders if he would commit to supporting the Democratic nominee before the convention if its clear it wont be him. Sanders would not make any such commitment."
Even the original misleading headline from that source made clear that the reference was to a winner of primaries, not the winner of the Democratic nomination as determined by the convention..
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
