19. Bernie thinks Republicans will vote for him and that before him Democrats had no ideas.

"So if you're a conservative Republican, you want health care. If you're a conservative Republican, you want to be able to send your kid to college. And I think the issues that we have been talking about in this campaign ... those issues have resonated with the American people. And in fact ... they have become kind of mainstream now at least in the Democratic Party, when they were seen as pretty out there four yeas ago. So I think when you talk about raising the minimum wage, when I think you talk about making educational opportunities available to all regardless of income, where you're talking about cancelling student debt, when you talk about health care for all as a human right, Medicare for all, when you talk about climate change, criminal justice reform, immigration reform, sensible gun policy in this country, a woman's right to control her own body and many other issues, those issues do resonate with a whole lot of Americans and we bring those people together around those issues."

How many times do we have to say that universal health care, higher wages and worker's rights, affordable education, climate change, immigration reform, criminal justice reform, gun control, pro choice ARE ALL DEMOCRATIC IDEAS. No, Republicans did not vote for Trump because of economic hardship and Democrats ignoring them. How many times.

"I don't believe that the [way to win] this election is to just speak to Republican women in the suburbs. That's one theory. And I think many of those women will vote for me, because they are appalled ... about Trump's personal behavior and his temperament. I think we can win many of them. Not all of them. But on the other hand, the key to this election is can we get millions of young people who have never voted before into the political process, many working people who understand that Trump is a fraud, can we get them voting? ... But my God, if you're a Donald Trump and you got Biden having voted for the war in Iraq, Biden having voted for these terrible ... trade agreements, Biden having voted for the bankruptcy bill. Trump will eat his lunch."

What?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
