B) This very much resembles things I heard/read leading up to the Iraq war about Bush. There were vast arguments from the right that we didn't deserve to know more because it would compromise the "mission." How'd that work out for us so far?
We're better than that. We do deserve rationalization and what an actual viable end goal is here. Not hyperbole and manufactured drama because, "America knows best." Pro tip: history seems to say otherwise.
This is a powder keg setting next to a growing fire and there are no cool minds in power to tend it that I'm aware of here.
