A "roll-call" amendment is just one type of amendment, usually one that adds some very small non-controversial item to a bill.

When you compare all amendments however, you find that Sanders is, to be generous, mediocre. Over his 25 years in Congress, Sanders has offered 90 successful amendments (21 by roll call votes, the leader). While the other senator from Vermont, Democrat Patrick Leahy, offered 226 successful amendments.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
