(180,686 posts)Under the rules for all state parties, the candidate has absolute approval right over pledged delegates. I helped to vet Clinton delegates and I know who vetted me. At the Texas state convention, the sanders campaign rejected a sanders delegates who elected in his senate district convention because that delegate would not tell the campaign that he hated Hillary Clinton. That young man was evidently screamed at by the sanders campaign. The Texas state party had to allow the sanders campaign to remove this young man but then the party invited this young man to go to the convention as a guest of the party.
BTW, the Clinton campaign repeatedly told us that we were representing Hillary Clinton and to do our best to ignore the horrible conduct of the sanders delegates. I was yelled at and called names by sanders delegates but yelling at a lawyer is a waste of time and effort. As a father, I do object to sanders delegates cursing my daughter and calling her the c-word. If that makes me a bad parent, I can live with that.
Again your claim is totally wrong
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
