Democratic Primaries
Showing Original Post only (View all)my fear is we have a candidate problem [View all]
Our candidates are superior but unlike Clinton or Obama, the average voter may see an election between two old white dudes. Most of the public isn't as engaged or informed as DU. Far from it. Think about 2008. Obama won in Indiana. That takes a transformative candidate to pull that off. We don't have that in 2020. We have old, career, Washington insiders. Fact. The fact that this race will be close is pretty damning. Im sorry but there is a lack of excitement about our candidates. I work in politics. A passion to beat Trump? Yes, amoung the engaged. I just don't see movement like I did with Clinton and Obama.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

I think that is absolutely true. It goes far beyond the usual support for a candidate.
