The second tier who can't break out because they're ONLY drawing white people suddenly appearing to challenge the top tier candidate who draws all the other races and ethnicities IA has few of.

Far more diverse NV Feb 22 will be the first indicator of how the candidates are really doing. Biden's way ahead in SC Feb 29. But polls say Biden's only solidly ahead right now in NV, with a logjammed second tier within possible striking range.

And Steyer is buying his way up, if his money continues its work... WaPo says he's swiveled from impeachment now that Democrats have impeached to a "just-fix-it" agenda. Some Democrats who don't like money in politics apparently are drawn to a billionaire who's promising to get money out of politics*. He appeals to some conservatives, but not all are happy with his attacks on Trump. My guess is if he didn't self-fund a gofundme effort would maybe stake him to a latte at Starbucks.

* Studies show that resentful populists are typically drawn to leaders who are certified members of the "elites" they want to destroy (!) but seen as outsider-elite. Senator Sanders, Billionaire Trump, and Billionaire Steyer, who's also been making populist noises to appeal to resentment and antagonism, all fit that ridiculous profile.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
