(12,663 posts)He has so far only been running against Trump. He has pledged to run a campaign against him win or lose the nomination.
Here is a prediction:
After the Super Bowl Americans will see two people running in the next election and that image will last throughout the campaign.
A while back, maybe as long as two years, I expressed my hope for our party to replace the primary mess with a nation wide "town hall" series of meeting to LISTEN to what the voters want. Draw from the people for the solutions to the major issues. Build a platform from this exchange that Democrats can present to the public and be proud of.
Let one candidate or a dark horse emerge from this process.
The most important issue, in my opinion, is to beat Trump. Whomever rises to that challenge will get my vote.
