Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: I look forward to Bernie advancing into the sights of attackers. [View all]Hav
(5,969 posts)20. I'm glad you stressed that is was fake empathy by Trump
Clinton talked to them as if they were rational adults, they just didn't like what she told them. And they hopefully realized by now that she was right and Trump hasn't changed anything for the better for them. If they prefer the lies that might feel good but don't change anything about their future for the second time, then I don't think any of our candidates will be their choice.
I also have this feeling that people who think the Democratic party abandoned them are kind of insulted by the big tent and the diversity of the Dem's base. They want it to be catered for them and only them.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

More asinine purple prose from the bros who feel persecuted over very normal vetting.

And "take on." This "taking on" is always pretty vague and sometime in the future.

Many are the times I have seen Sunday morning and other discussion shows omit Bernie's name.

Must be nice to have such a dramatically inclined candidate, an underdog fighting for all
