In reply to the discussion: AM Joy dedicated 20+ minutes to basically saying Mayor Pete... [View all]Polly Hennessey
(8,997 posts)15. I am beginning to have a problem
with Joy Reid. Her show today on Pete Buttegeig was terrible. Twenty minutes of negativity. I then remembered that Michael Harriot from the Root tried to do a smear job on Joe Biden a couple of months ago. I wonder who he will target next: Mayor Bloomberg; Tom Steyer; Bernie Sanders; Andrew Yang. I tape her show but seldom watch anymore for all the reasons already stated. I watched this morning because I was astounded at the one-sided segment on Pete. No more, Ill tape Ali Velshis new show on before her. Joy Ann has become biased. I also discovered that Henry Gates, Jr., is a co-founder of The Root publication. Joy Ann was a Root reporter at one time.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

I still like Joy, but she seems to project/claim monolithic thinking among African Americans

It seems to me that it has been decided (I'm not sure by whom, but I have my suspicions...)

Joy's irrational hatred of Pete, and her past comments about gays, makes you wonder...
