The way some now insist that touching others socially is always wrong is in itself, is, frankly, somewhat dysfunctional, and even weird. An extreme reaction by those prone to it, but not a healthy one for society. We need to be nicer to each other, not more distant and suspicious.
So I'd try to hold my mind open. Both to the possibility that he gets off on smelling hair and touching women when they don't want to be AND to the reality that that she is a Sanders supporter and is involved in politics, and there's a mountain of documentation that there's a higher level of acceptance of ruthless tactics among some of them than in most Democratic campaigns. It's always possible she turned a genuine dislike of being touched into a "creepier" account.
The battle for power is enormous and the stakes are enormous, so probably more stories will be coming out, most that cannot be confirmed or disproven Franken style, I imagine. What we need is some that can be. Even one would be a help in trying to know what to think.
