If you are winning why would you. If you are behind it looks a bit desperate. If you go to unify wings you can alienate your base. You also open up the campaign to incomplete vetting. And now you are running on two records, with twice the attacks.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
