(6,321 posts)I agree with him. If you are not willing to learn anything from 2016 campaign - please be prepeared for another 4 years of trump. We are now past the grieving time so its ok to talk openly. Hillary Clinton is the strongest woman alive - no amount of critisim can ever hurt her. I always thought she was brilliant and spot on when it comes to policies but I never found her an exceptional politician. Shes always been saying all the right things but many of those things were not politically savvy. E.g., when there is some islamist attack, you dont go around with speeches the next day insisting that we need to at least double our refugee acceptance rate. Hold it for a while and focus on other things. Extracts from her speeches would then be used non-stop to hammer the campaign and inflate the drama. And, yes, she got more votes, etc. But you just dont go anywhere close within the cheating margin of the worst candidate in the history of our country.
And if we learned one thing from 2016, it is that we should not even aknowledge trumps existence when campaigning in general 2020 election - talk about problems and solutions instead 100% of the time.
