(38,687 posts)He's skated so far with the magic fairy dust revolution line: people will rise up blah blah... taxes on the rich!!
Hopefully that won't last long. Because if you look deep enough, you're looking at fraud.
He needs to be honest about how he'll pass his massive amount of legislation. He isn't being honest. And by not being honest he has a lot of people believing he can do it, when he can't. He knows he can't. He's been in Congress 30 years. He knows the magic fairy dust revolution can't pass legislation.
He needs to be honest that the passage of all his legislation, the tax on the rich etc. have little chance of happening.
Bernie isn't doing the usual campaign promise 'chicken in every pot' thing. And if it doesn't happen, 'oh, well'. He is literally promising everything. For all. The amount of things he has promised is jaw-dropping. That's what makes this different. The scale. No 'oh,well' here when it doesn't happen. The trundles will roll.
Biden's climate plan:
"Bidens climate plan includes executive orders to help curb emissions from oil and gas extraction and increase the energy efficiency of vehicles and buildings, among other goals. Biden, who has led Democratic primary polls since he entered the campaign, also vows to demand that Congress act on climate change during his first year in office and to hold them accountable if a bill doesnt pass."
He is being honest. He isn't claiming he'll be able to pass a thing in Congress.
Bernie is pushing Green New Deal. Green New Deal has been introduced in the Senate and voted down. Way back in March. But Bernie is out on the campaign trail talking about saving the planet with his Green New Deal. That's not being honest. He is deliberately deluding his followers. And taking their money.
Someone was joking yesterday about how Bernie, who a lot of people are aware is a fraud, must be feeling a bit nervous at the impeachment hearings.
Let's hope it doesn't get that far. Because he'll take the Democratic party down with him.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
