(29,161 posts)The answer was that it depended on the candidate, one who doesn't only play to the base but has shared American values about pocketbooks and kids and things people care about. One with empathy, authentic, with integrity.
They didn't say Hillary's name, but it was about her. Authenticity. Empathy. Integrity. Values. Economic message. I guess it's easier to think that if they just get the right person everything's going to be fine, it's about personality. They thought it was important that Obama won the MidWest and Hillary couldn't do it (although she won the working class vote): after eight years of a disastrous Republican administration of course people wanted change. They vote for change, change for the heck of it or because the economy is terrible.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
