I was not defending myself in the post you linked to. Instead, I admitted to saying something that was incorrect, attempted to explain, and apologized for my words.

People are welcome to read that, as far as I'm concerned. In fact, I hope they do.

For pete's sake! This is 2020, and we're discussion the Democratic presidential primary race here. We're not discussing me. I'm not a candidate in that race. We're discussion the candidates and their campaigns.

I've been using the same screen name to discuss politics for well over 2 decades. In that time, I have written close to 200,000 posts on different websites. Beginning in 2008, I have only posted about politics here, on Democratic Underground. From time to time, I have posted stupidly. I try not to do that, but there it is. You can find those few stupid posts in the six figure number of posts I have made, if you have sufficient time and the desire to find them. It seems a waste of time, to me, but some people seem to feel the need to do so as a means of argument about posts that have nothing to do with any of that.

You're welcome to do whatever you want. I don't care. Good luck with that, though.
