In reply to the discussion: Senator Sanders might well not have known some things about Joe Rogan. [View all]MineralMan
(151,532 posts)He is a toxic individual, who has attacked several groups of people who are attacked often and who suffer from those attacks. Like Donald Trump, he "speaks his mind."
He has insulted people of color, using ugly names. He has insulted the LGBTQIA community frequently, using similar ugly labels. He is abrasive in his language toward others. In general, he's not a nice guy at all.
He has a following of like-minded people. Perhaps Senator Sanders is hoping Rogan's followers will vote for him. I don't know. But, Bernie already has support from some of the same people Rogan has maligned or insulted. By promoting Rogan's endorsement of him, Sanders is making a mistake, it seems to me.
That's neither here nor there for me. I'm not voting for Bernie in my state's primary election, and I'm supporting Joe Biden. So if Sentator Sanders hurts his own campaign, that's not a matter of concern for me.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
