4. In at least three of the last five contested primary campaigns, the eventual nominee....

....didn't win both Iowa and New Hampshire, in one the eventual nominee didn't win either.

Once again:


In 2016 Clinton won Iowa (by less than 1/2%), Sanders won New Hampshire - Clinton was the nominee (tied 1, lost 1)
In 2008 Obama won Iowa, Clinton won New Hampshire - Obama was the nominee (won 1 of the two)
In 2004 Kerry won both - Kerry was the nominee (won both)
In 2000 Gore won both - Gore was the nominee (won both)
In 1992 Harkin won Iowa, Tsongas won New Hampshire - Clinton was the nominee (won neither)

primary today, I would vote for:
