Which IMO is what she's done.
If I were acting as if I had stage fright and someone more experienced going onstage tried to reassure me, whether with hands on my shoulders or something they said, and I felt more uncomfortable as a result, IMO that would be MY problem and not theirs.
I honestly think the main reason Flores was uncomfortable was that she was embarrassed about her unwashed hair. It might seem like a paltry detail, but it's telling that she brought it up. It bothered her that possibly Biden might have noticed that she hadn't washed her hair.
I doubt he did. But she was self-conscious, and her embarrassment turned to resentment.
And you know what? If she'd told Biden he was making her uncomfortable, he would have apologized then.
If she'd told him she was self-conscious about his face being that close to her hair because she hadn't found time to wash it, he'd have reassured her that her hair looked lovely and smelled fine.
But instead she locked in resentment...well, some level of resentment. I have to mention again that there's no sign in any of the photos taken onstage minutes later that she wasn't delighted to have him there.
And now she's rolling this accusation out, and dragging in debunked GOP smears, to try to destroy his presidential run before it begins.
If she just wanted an apology, she could have asked him for that in private, either when this happened or any time since.
She doesn't want an apology. She wants to destroy his political career.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
