55. Why people getting offended about "Angry Black Lady" being offended?

Are we living in a society where racism doesn’t exist, and if someone makes an egregiously racist comment it’s supposed to be all in good fun, cause the dude is nice enough sometimes?

We can’t seem to agree to break down racism to its core causes and manifestations during these kind of debates.. I mean I could try, but it would be a lengthy and ignored post.. but people will all join up and hold hands when a Black man is gunned down by the cops? Why then and not now?

Racisms existence needs to be called out. All the time. Every time Imani Gandy has been speaking out against it for a long time. She is an advocate for a woman's right to choose, she speaks her truth about being a Black woman in America She is an attorney.

She’s as intense an activist as you can get. Seriously.

Her voice on Twitter isn’t nearly all of what she does, and when she speaks, I have enough respect for her experience and wisdom to listen.
