Much of this controversy has been fueled by David Sirota who is basically a Twitter attack dog that Sanders hired. Some of his claims are demonstrably false...like the one that claims Biden was lauding Paul Ryan.
Biden is a long-time deficit hawk. Like I said I would be willing to forego a couple lousy COLA increases if Joe feels it's necessary to get major concessions from the Republicans on raising taxes on the wealthy and corporations. But you can rest assured Biden is not about to slash SSI or Medicare as some have suggested. I have confidence that if Biden makes some of us sacrifice a little then others who are much better off will have to give up a lot more. As the article above mentions Obama pretty much felt the exact same way although neither was successful during Barack's two terms thanks to Republican intransigence and unwillingness to compromise.
Or we could go Bernie's preferred way...although I doubt SSI and Medicare would last very much longer if the federal debt skyrockets by $1 or $2 trillion every year.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
