Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: Democrats court doom by backing Bernie Sanders. His ideas are toxic outside blue America. [View all]Tweedy
(1,284 posts)People want a wealth tax. Most like Senator Warren's better (higher numbers when her name is omitted). We want that in red states, in blue states, in high hollers and lowlands everywhere
Our kids want some help so their lives are not indentured. Kids want that in Thayer, Kansas and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as much as they want it in NYC or LA
People want their health care to be secure. Isn't it wild how Frank Luntz-y so many have gone on this one? Reminds me of the debate before Obamacare passed.
All of the rest of the candidates, including and most especially the current president, who is in court to take what we have now away, need to be pressed on how their ideas do that.
VP Biden does have half a plan; although it is not half baked. It is the original Obamacare, before Senator Lieberman balked at Medicare buy in. He still has some 'splaining to do. Yet, so does the former VP.
Senator Sanders could win the general
of that there is no doubt
It would help if his campaign stopped bashing long time liberal democrats like Barney Frank. I know Mr. Frank supported the Senator's opponent last time. So what? That sounds very drumphian to me.
Any of our candidates could win.
Best chance we the people have is if we stick together.
E pluribus unum
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
