31. Bernie Or Nobody?

I think that you are right if you mean that a certain percentage of Bernie supporter will never support Biden, or Buttigieg, or Klobucher. That said, if one of those Dems get the nomination, there will be a percentage of Bernie supporters that would and *should* vote for whoever gets the Democratic nomination. Some percent of Bernie supporters will not vote for anyone else, so they are written off no matter what percent they are.

Whoever gets the nomination, part of their immediate job, I think, would be to try and unite ALL Democrats, of ALL types and stripes. It is a big tent party, and we will need to get as many Dems mobilized for the General Election as possible. Biden/Sanders was mentioned. I could also see Biden/Warren, which I think would be more palatable for some Dems, since there seem to be more Dems that really dislike Bernie than those who dislike Warren. So maybe Biden/Warren.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Undecided

I think a better reason is when you have an older nominee, that nominee should choose a younger VP still_one Jan 2020 #18
