Sanders supporters shouldn't underestimate that skepticism.
And yes, Bloomberg has baggage.
So does Sanders, and his supporters shouldn't underestimate that, either.
If you want to understand why the poll got those results, read the replies there.
FWIW, I hadn't expected that many replies to the poll.
And while I'd thought there was some chance Bloomberg might poll better than Sanders in that thread, I wasn't at all sure of that, and was surprised by just how much better Bloomberg did.
But I'd noticed that professional polls had shown Bloomberg gaining more and more support. And various messages here had indicated the same thing.
So I thought I'd see what this liberal, well-informed group of politics junkies would say in response to that poll question.
And yes, DUers who don't support Sanders and who don't think he can beat Trump, and who'd even prefer Bloomberg, are still liberal.
You don't get to define "liberal" or "progressive" by whether or not one supports Sanders.
I'll still vote for Sanders if he's our nominee.
I just hope he won't be.
And the same is true of a lot of DUers, as that poll showed.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
