Im afraid the climate is going to be a far larger player in this election than weve ever seen, and they are perfectly positioned to win more voters away from us than they ever have. They are only the enemy if they oppose us. We desperately need to think outside of the box, IMO, and try to form an alliance with them.
Unless we put up a candidate who is proposing dramatic enough changes to transform us into a green economy far quicker than proposed before. Otherwise we can lose too many green voters for our timidity. I could see Greta T rallying with the Green Party candidate, imagine what that would do... we have no idea how that issue will play out because the Green Party hasnt chosen their candidate yet. We are unwise if we dont include something to address this in our big picture strategy, IMO... we could easily lose on this one issue.
