10. Is this the death knell for caucuses?

Washington State abandoned them in 2018 - they were unrepresentative, rancorous, tended to favor a very select slice of the population, and were frequently unorganized. Sanders won in 2016 at the caucuses to Clinton, but placed a distant second in the non-binding election testing the move towards a regular vote. Maybe 5,000 total voted in the Caucus, while there were more than a million votes in the election.

I honestly hope this will put a stake in the Iowa Caucus in particular. It's a relic, and a not particularly good one.

primary today, I would vote for:
