Biden has no one to blame but the man in the mirror. Perhaps he figured (like I did) that HRC was going to win a couple of terms, at which point he’d be too old to physically endure a campaign for POTUS. Maybe that impacted some decisions he made or how much effort he put into developing a money network for another run, as his “Jersey was being retired” so to speak.

But DJT won (sort of) and Biden finds himself more or less the heir to the last Democratic administration. But he’d made some errors in judgement, strategy, and tactics that have led to his campaign’s implosion. Not the first time. I was a Jesse Jackson supporter in 1988 and recall Biden’s campaign going down in flames. Was that the Rev. Jackson’s fault? Gov. Dukakis’? Bernie’s?

For crying out loud quit blaming Bernie.
